Authorities in Australia have determined that 19-year-old Canadian tourist Piper James of Campbell River, B.C., who died in January drowned after sustaining injuries from a dingo attack.

Residents around B.C. have reported hearing a loud boom and seeing a bright flash of light in the sky Tuesday evening. The event was "undoubtedly a fireball," according to Robert Lunsford with the American Meteor Society.
