
Two members of the federal government’s Net-Zero Advisory Body have resigned, saying its work is being ignored by Ottawa as it moves away from previous climate commitments and toward new oil and gas projects.


Police in Brantford, Ont., confirmed with CBC News that they received calls from upset residents, as well as online and in-person complaints, after a house along the parade route posted anti-Santa signs in its windows.

A Kamloops, B.C., man's personalized licence plate is being recalled by ICBC due to its reference to the police. Jimmy Jay, however, says he's had the plates for almost a decade and thinks he should be grandfathered in.

Noting the decision not to mark the day, the State Department stated: "An awareness day is not a strategy." Activists in the fight to end the ongoing AIDS epidemic disagree.
